speech for whales

I’m here to give a speech on cruelty of the fishing industry to whales in Japan. If you think you should not be killed by others, why not the whales? They are living things and have feelings too, none has the right to kill them for whatever reason. One might think that killing them is a way to end their sufferings, but the way of killing? No way, the whales are killed with harpoons, towed to shore and long knives are used to cut their blubber off. The way of killing is not only not away to end their sufferings but instead add up to their sufferings. Although whaling has been banned, numerous whales have been killed for ‘’scientific research’ but I threat it as a lousy reason to kill whales again as it also disrupts the ecosystem.
